The organization is key. Eat the frog. Do the hardest thing first and do everything else after.

Were there any challenges or blockers on your way to becoming who you are now? If yes, what are those challenges?

I believe I’m not where I want to be but there have been challenges. Life has taught me how to stand strong no matter what happens. But God is my strength and my rock.

How did you overcome these challenges/blockers if any? Please share the practical steps you took.

God, prayer, and community. 3 important things.

1. God, you can’t do things outside of God and expect to succeed.

2. Prayer is a lifestyle. Prayer does not mean automatically everything will go smoothly but it gives you peace, prayer is a conversation with God. You are leaving your prayer moment at peace.

3. Community: my family and friends have been there through the good and bad, they have covered me in prayers, loved on me, and supported me.

Who is your role model and why?

My mother. What a woman. I salute you, mum. Hard-working, loving woman with a heart of Gold. My mum can give you everything she has to make you comfortable. A woman that nurtured me, loved me, and prayed for me. A woman of prayer and faith. My mama D Iya Funmi ❤

Do you have a mentor or a coach? If yes, which one? if not, why not?

Yes: spiritual, career, business.

If you are married with/without children, how do you balance/align your home commitments with your career/side hustle workload?

Not applicable to me

What one piece of advice would you give to other women about them stepping into their power and purpose unapologetically?

Don’t rush yourself. The Bible reminds us in Habakkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for the appointed time. It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it. For it will surely come and it will not delay

Thank you so much for your time, Funmini. We celebrate you today and always.
